1. What Are Cookies
Cookies are small text files stored on your device by your web browser when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites function properly, provide a better user experience, and supply usage information to site operators. The Neon Launch platform uses cookies and similar browser storage mechanisms (such as Local Storage) to maintain your session and preferences.
2. Cookies We Use
We categorize our cookies by purpose:
Essential Cookies
Required for the Platform to function. These cannot be disabled without breaking core functionality.
- JWT Authentication Token -- maintains your signed-in session after SIWE authentication. Expires when the token's TTL lapses or you sign out.
- Wallet Connection State -- remembers your connected wallet provider (e.g., MetaMask, WalletConnect) so you don't have to reconnect on every page load.
Functional Cookies
Nice to have, but not required for the site to work.
- UI Preferences -- any display settings or layout preferences you configure within the Platform.
Analytics Cookies
Help us understand how users interact with the Platform so we can improve it.
- Usage Patterns -- anonymous data about which pages are visited, features used, and general navigation behavior.
3. Local Storage
In addition to cookies, we use the browser's Local Storage API to persist certain data on your device. Local Storage does not expire automatically and remains until cleared by you or the application. We use it for:
- Authentication Tokens -- JWT tokens for maintaining your session.
- Theme & Display Settings -- visual preferences for the Platform interface.
- Wallet Connection State -- cached connector information for faster reconnection.
4. Third-Party Cookies
Some third-party services integrated into the Platform may set their own cookies:
- WalletConnect -- may store session relay data to maintain your wallet connection across the WalletConnect bridge.
- Analytics Providers -- if integrated, may use their own cookies to track anonymized usage data.
We do not control third-party cookies. Please refer to the respective providers' cookie policies for details.
5. Managing Cookies
You can control cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to:
- View and delete individual cookies.
- Block cookies from specific or all websites.
- Set preferences for first-party vs. third-party cookies.
- Clear all cookies and site data when you close your browser.
To clear Local Storage data, use your browser's developer tools (usually accessible via F12) and navigate to the Application or Storage tab. Note that clearing essential cookies or Local Storage will sign you out and may require you to reconnect your wallet.
6. Changes to Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
7. Contact
For questions about our use of cookies and browser storage, please reach out through the official Neon Launch communication channels listed on the Platform.
